Facchina Construction Company Benefits

Facchina Construction Company offers its employees a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, and Short and Long Term Disability.   

Medical:
FCC has a self-insured medical plan utilizing CoreSource as a third party administrator.  We use the OneNet/MAPSI network of providers and make use of a PPO style plan.  Within the health plan we also offer Flexible Spending Accounts both for medical and dependent care.  This plan is supplemented by the company.

Dental:
FCC offers comprehensive dental coverage through Delta Dental Insurance Company.  Delta is the nation’s largest provider of dental insurance and offers the largest network of providers.  The plan is setup as a two tiered plan which offers the participant the option of selecting the High plan or the Low plan.  The high plan covers preventative maintenance at 100% and offers a higher level of coinsurance than the low plan option.  The low plan also offers full coverage of preventative maintenance, but has considerably lower coinsurance amounts for major coverage.  This plan is paid for by the employee.

Vision:
FCC offers its employees vision coverage through VSP, the nation’s largest vision care insurance company.  The plan offers exams and allowances for glasses and contacts.  Although laser surgery is not a covered item on this plan, there may be significant discounts given by being a covered member.  This plan is paid for by the employee.

401(k):
FCC offers its retirement and profit sharing plan through the Principal Financial Group.  There is a one year waiting period to enter the plan, but once in we do offer a guaranteed match of 25% of elective deferrals with the discretion to match up to 100%. 

Life Insurance (Salaried Only):
FCC offers group life insurance through Aetna Life Insurance Company.  Salaried employees benefit from 2X salary up to a maximum of $450,000 and hourly employees benefit from a fixed $20,000 benefit.  Added to this initial benefit is an Accidental Death & Dismemberment policy which pays the beneficiary an equivalent amount to the life policy under certain circumstances.  This plan is paid for 100% by the company.

Short Term Disability (Salaried Only):
FCC offers its salaried employees Short Term Disability coverage.  This plan is paid for 100% by the company.

Long Term Disability (Salaried Only):
FCC offers its salaried employees Long Term Disability coverage through Aetna Life Insurance Company.  This plan is paid for 100% by the company.
