Heavy Highway
The Heavy/Highway division is the oldest, largest, and most diverse division of Facchina Construction. Most of its work is performed as a general contractor for public owners. The division builds projects such as highways, interchanges, bridges, airport runways and structures, and mass-transit facilities. Detailed planning, on-the-job decision responsibility, streamlined construction, and self-performance are our trademark. This integrated approach is also highly effective for building projects where significant, multiple civil/structural operations must be performed on a challenging site. |

Concrete Frames
The Concrete Frame Division, which began sustained operations in 1997, generally performs work as a subcontractor for building general contractors. Most projects have high form factors (primarily high rise office buildings and parking garages) and are labor intensive. In order to better support the concrete frames material needs, Facchina is now the largest U.S. owner of PERI form products, which are state-of-the-art European designed and patented forming systems. Facchina’s pioneering first local-market use of PERI Formwork Systems has increased productivity and allowed us to thrive in an extremely competitive concrete construction market. |

Site Development
The Site Development Division is a turnkey General Contractor performing Highway, Residential and Commercial construction. This division performs all trades essential to private site development and public local infrastructure construction including but not limited to; Clearing and Grubbing, Mass Excavation, Water, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Drain, Storm Water Management, Fine Grading, Pad Construction, and Aggregate Bases, etc. In addition to providing a complete infrastructure scope, the Site Division delivers a sophisticated and professional work staff which works hand in hand with our clients to value engineer and troubleshoot the project from start to finish. |

Building and Commercial Construction
The youngest division of Facchina Construction, Commercial Development and Construction was initially created to respond to the surge in commercial growth following the 2002 tornado that swept through LaPlata, Maryland. Since then it has become Facchina’s fastest growing division, specializing in design/build of all types of commercial buildings, including class “A” offices and flex space complexes. The division recently began work on the ST building for the College of Southern Maryland. This $14 million project, is the largest competitively bid public project to date for the division. |

Baltimore
The Baltimore Division was created in 1996 to primarily serve the metropolitan Baltimore area. Employees of this division are locally based to readily service the work. The Division handles a wide variety of projects and functions both as a general contractor and as a specialty subcontractor for site work, utilities, and structural concrete on a multitude of military, educational, healthcare, recreational, and transportation facilities.
