The Charles County Government contracted Facchina to complete the roadway improvements on Rosewick Road in La Plata, MD. The project is 2 miles of 4 lane parkway road improvements. The project includes 6500LF of storm sewer, 5 storm water management ponds, 3 borings under the railroad, and traffic signalization at Washington Avenue/Rosewick Road. Verizon and SMECO have extensive utilities on the project, and there will be relocation of some of those utilities. The Rosewick Road improvements begin at the St. Charles Parkway extension which Facchina recently completed. The completed road, together with the St. Charles Parkway extension, acts as a bypass of the 301 Waldorf Corridor.
