Construction Management services were provided on this new, three-story, free-standing comprehensive cancer center situated on an existing campus.  In addition to the out-patient cancer center with full diagnostic and treatment capabilities, the project also included the construction and fit-out of office and administrative areas.  During the beginning phases of this project, the client had requested competitive lump-sum bids to complete the work.  However, after receiving the bids, no submitter had achieved a price within the original budget.  We were awarded the job on a CM-GMP basis and, through value engineering exercises, was able to deliver the project within the owner’s approved budget without compromising the services, quality or requirements of the center.
