Owner Representative services were provided for the design and construction of Raymond James Stadium, the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Super Bowl XXXV.
Following our successful partnership on the Ice Palace project, the Tampa Sports Authority again contracted with us to represent their interests on this dramatic facility. The new state of the art stadium has 65,000 permanent seats and is expandable to accommodate 75,000 patrons for larger events such as the Super Bowl. Like the stadium seating, the luxury suite areas were designed to be flexible. Initially only 65 suites were to be constructed, there are currently over 100. Stadium features include five public levels, two club lounges, and two dedicated suite levels. The end zone field seating is retractable in order to accommodate concerts. In addition to typical retail concessions, the stadium includes specialty team and NFL stores and gift shops. We monitored all aspects of design and construction and was responsible for monitoring program adherence, design and construction schedule compliance, construction quality, project budget, and F,F&E procurement. In addition, on-site staff was responsible for all financial controls on behalf of the Tampa Sports Authority and for monitoring the construction Manager’s compliance with local hiring and contracting requirements.
