Facchina (MidAtlantic Group formerly Facchina-McGaughan) completed the twenty-five floor cast-in-place concrete condominium tower above a six level underground parking garage with extensive site development and amenities at the street-level Plaza. Facchina also performed a significant amount of off-site work, relocating underground power, telephone, water and sewer service in the adjoining streets and providing landscaping and other amenities in nearby parks and public areas. Abatement and demolition of an existing hotel on the property began in the fall of 2006, followed by a sixty-foot deep excavation through bedrock, leading to a start of concrete work in the summer of 2007. The concrete work was performed by Facchina’s Concrete Frames division.
